Juliana's margherita pizza and a pie topped with arugula

Juliana’s by Patsy Grimaldi

There’s nothing that says ‘I love NY’ more than eating a classic slice of New York pizza in view of the Brooklyn Bridge. And who better to provide that perfect pie than the first name in pizza, Patsy Grimaldi?

Patsy Grimaldi is a New York pizza legend—he has been making delicious pies for over seven decades. He started working in his uncle’s pizza shop at the age of 10 and has spent his entire life obsessing over his craft, save for one very short attempt at retirement. At 81 years-old, with partner Matthew Grogan, Grimaldi opened Juliana’s Pizza in the location where he built his reputation. The name on the front is different (it’s his lovely mother’s), but the pizza is exactly what we’ve come to expect—delicious thin-crust pies covered with premium toppings. For Time Out Market New York Grimaldi and Grogan have hung up the Juliana’s shingle on our fifth floor.

At Time Out Market’s Rooftop you can order 10-and 16-inch pies like the classic margherita, a white pizza with garlic and one topped with prosciutto and arugula. Other incredible offerings include the best meatball you’ll ever have, a delectable cannoli and the iconic New York City egg cream mixed with Fox’s u-bet syrup and Gomberg’s syphon bottle seltzer.

For those days when you wish to experience the fuzzy feeling that New York is the greatest city in the world, share a piping hot pizza, seasoned with decades of local pizza making expertise, with friends at your communal table.
